“Lighthouses don’t go running all over an island looking for boats to save; they just stand there shining.”

Born and raised in a small country town in Ohio, I was the kid tearing apart my remote control cars, bikes and other toys just to see how they worked and how to make them go faster. From that point on, I would work on my own equipment and vehicles. If time allows it, I still do to this day. Growing up, family and friends owned boats and jet skis, which meant I was always tubing, skiing, fishing and just having fun on the water!

As my interest grew, I decided to pursue a career in boating. I received technical training from the Marine Mechanics Institute in Orlando, FL as well as other specific training and certifications from Mercury Marine, Nautique and Pleasure Craft Marine. In February of 2019, I started this company. It has been a daily challenge and a dream come true at the same time.

The driving force behind the business and inspiration of mine is my grandfather (Poppy). Amongst being a SeaBee in the U.S. Navy, he started and owned multiple businesses (coal company, saw mill, etc.) all while raising a family. He passed on knowledge and lessons to his son, who in return passed them onto me.

With a traditional/disciplined household, things were done in a professional, timely and orderly manner. That is what you can expect when working with me. I pride myself in making sure the job is done correctly by diagnosing the problem, using high quality brand specific parts and using all the resources to find a solution.
